Scott Cook is the co-founder of Intuit, the tax preparation software and services firm based in Palo Alto, CA. Signe Ostby was a founder of Software Publishing Corporation, in the 1980s, maker of Harvard Graphics business presentation software. In 2002 the couple established the Center for Brand and Product Management at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, with a $6.4 million gift. They are also funders of environmental protection, university education, and medical research to fight Multiple Sclerosis.
